Constantius I, as Caesar, 293-305. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 23 mm, 2.91 g, 7 h), Ticinum, 294. FL VAL CONSTANTIVS NOB C Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius I to right. Rev. VIRTVS AVGG / [X]XIT Hercules, holding club in his right hand and apple in his left, lion skin draped over his left arm, standing to right in the garden of the Hesperides under apple tree round which is entwined the serpent Ladon. Cohen 299. RIC 670. Very rare. Poorly cleaned, smoothed and the hair somewhat strengthened, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
